Payment Policy

At Everest Paints, we offer a range of secure payment options to ensure a smooth and hassle-free shopping experience for our global customers. Please review our payment policy below for detailed information on accepted payment methods, currencies, and how currency conversion is managed.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover (securely processed via Shopify Payments).
  • PayPal: A widely trusted and secure payment platform.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay: Available for a quick checkout process on supported devices.

All payments made via Shopify Payments and PayPal are securely processed with industry-standard encryption to protect your payment information.

2. Accepted Currencies

Thanks to Shopify Markets, we accept payments in the following currencies:

  • British Pounds Sterling (GBP)
  • Euros (EUR)
  • Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  • Mexican Pesos (MXN)

Customers can pay in their local currency, and the total amount will be calculated based on the current exchange rates.

3. Currency Conversion and Fees

If you make a purchase in a currency different from our store's base currency (GBP), Shopify Markets will handle the conversion automatically during checkout. A currency conversion fee (typically 1.5% to 2%) will be applied by Shopify and included in the final amount charged.

Important: This conversion fee is handled entirely by Shopify and is reflected in the price displayed at checkout. Everest Paints does not charge any additional currency conversion fees.

4. Currency Conversion Fees by Shopify Payments

The conversion fee charged by Shopify Payments is added on top of the exchange rate and may vary depending on your country or payment method. For customers shopping in a currency different from their local currency, your card issuer or bank may also charge additional fees for international transactions. We recommend checking with your bank or card provider for more details.

5. Payment Security

Your payment security is a top priority at Everest Paints:

  • All transactions via Shopify Payments and PayPal are encrypted with SSL to ensure your personal information is kept safe.
  • We do not store your payment details. All sensitive payment data is managed securely by our payment processors.

6. Order Confirmation

Once your payment is successfully completed, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order number, payment summary, and a breakdown of the items purchased.

7. Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment is declined or fails, please ensure that:

  • The card details (number, expiration date, CVV) are entered correctly.
  • The billing address matches the address registered with your card provider.
  • There are sufficient funds in your account.

8. Refunds and Payment Method

Refunds are processed via the original payment method used at checkout:

  • Credit/Debit Card (via Shopify Payments): Refunds will be returned to the original card within 5-10 business days.
  • PayPal: Refunds will be credited to your PayPal account within 3-5 business days.

Please note that refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

9. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Double-check your bank or PayPal account.
  2. Contact your credit card provider or bank, as refund processing times may vary.
  3. If you have done all of the above and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at contact@everestpaints.com.

10. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged during shipping. To request an exchange, please email us at contact@everestpaints.com.

11. Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel your order, you may do so before the order has been processed and shipped. Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled, but you may return it following our Returns Policy. To cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@everestpaints.com with your order number.
